My Story

The Never-Ending Quest for “Home”

Born in Belgium, but my journey has taken me across the world. From six months in South Africa, to four years in Chicago, two in Düsseldorf, a short yet inspiring three-month stay in Barcelona, and now, we’ve settled in Rapperswil, near Zurich, Switzerland.

Every move has been an opportunity—to learn, grow, and embrace new challenges. Some moments were exciting, others chaotic, but each step has brought me closer to understanding what "home" truly means. The journey continues, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Entrepreneurial Rollercoaster (Hold on Tight!)

Back in 2010, I started climbing the corporate ladder—building departments, growing teams, and believing I was on track to become the next big corporate success story. By 2018? I was bored out of my mind.

So, I left my cushy job at a top Tech & Food company (because who needs stability, right?). And that’s when everything changed…

 2018 – Marketing Scaleurs,: Launched my marketing agency in Chicago, focused on scaling tech companies. 📈

 2020 – Real Estate & Travel: Partnered on real estate projects in Florida, founding MyCataleya, a global travel agency & rental business. We manage condos remotely and help fellow scaleurs work & travel from anywhere. 

 2022 – Jelloow: Built my main venture, an AI-driven marketing platform that analyzes 1,000+ data points to help companies make smarter marketing decisions. Think of it as a data navigator for success—tracking SEO, engagement rates, top-performing content, and more.

2024 – This Account: Launched my personal brand to share my journey, lessons & no-BS insights on building & scaling businesses. ​As I’ve failed, lost money, networked like crazy, and learned A LOT. But one thing remains true—a scaleur mindset is key.

Goal Freak: Obsessed with Checking Boxes

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I’m obsessed with setting (and smashing) goals. Every year, I break down my big-picture vision into monthly, weekly, and even daily tasks. Why leave things to chance when you can take full control?

For me, work and life aren’t separate—they fuel each other.

My mission? To grow, scale, and help others do the same.

Achievements (Because Humblebrags Are Fun):

• Sports: Ran the Chicago Marathon in 2018. 42.2 km of pure grit.

• Education: Earned three master’s degrees because one wasn’t enough:
  ➡️ Executive MBA – Hult, London
  ➡️ Management Master’s – Vlerick, Belgium
  ➡️ Economics Master’s – Belgium

• Travel: Explored 63 countries (33% of the world). Still plenty more to go!

• Author: Wrote "Think Big, Scale Fast" (2018-2019) because scaling is an art.

• Coaching: Through Marketingscaleur, I help entrepreneurs scale their business & life.

•  Wine Nerd: Almost completed WSET Level 4, so yes, I will talk wine at dinner parties.

• Female Leadership Advocate: Founder of FemFuel, my LinkedIn newsletter sharing insights on female leadership & business growth.

• No matter the industry or challenge, one thing remains true—with the right mindset and strategy, you can achieve anything.
